This is an engagement through Upwork’s Hybrid Workforce Solutions (HWS) Team. Our Hybrid Workforce Solutions Team is a global group of professionals that support Upwork’s business. Our HWS team members are located all over the world.
Work/Project Scope:
Responsible for helping our team on several initiatives to enhance and scale our IT Infrastructure needs in a fast-growing SaaS environment.
Provide technical expertise while working with cross-functional teams to achieve compliance, revamping our Identity Management System, integrating applications with our Identity Provider and improving/enhancing existing services hosted by Upwork Corporate Technology.
Must Haves (Required Skills):
DevOps mindset to approaching problems
Experience with Configuration Management(Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc)
Ability to manage own projects, meet deadlines, and communicate with stakeholders across multiple teams and geographies.
Comfortable in at least one of the following scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Go)
Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and Container orchestration
Ability to adapt to change and learn new technologies
3 Years of experience in AWS/Azure/GCP
Comfortable with Linux and Windows systems
Ability to join the on-call rotation, 1 week every 2 months
Able to work during Central Standard Time business hours during the training period
