As a Senior Cloud Engineer at Namecheap, you will play a crucial role in advancing the infrastructure that serves tens of thousands of customers. Leveraging your deep understanding of on-premise cloud infrastructure, you will ensure our systems run effectively, efficiently, and reliably. You'll collaborate closely with our team, engaging with a diverse range of cutting-edge technology, from hardware and networking to crafting Kubernetes operators and everything in between.

Where you’ll thrive: European time zones! This role is 100% remote.

The Interview Journey: 3 stages over up to 4 weeks (30 min HR chat ➡ 1h Cultural/Technical chat ➡ 45 min Tech discussion)

Technologies: Linux and Kubernetes Networking, Kubernetes, Golang, Virtualization, ARM computing

Collaborating with: Domonkos Cinke, Head of Cloud Infrastructure

Your Supportive Team: 10 people (1 Manager, 8 Cloud Engineers, and YOU!)

What role will you play?

We seek a Senior Cloud Engineer to manage and enhance our on-premise infrastructure. You will play a key role in proposing and implementing innovative solutions to improve customers` experience. You will join a friendly and collaborative team focused on achieving excellence.

With what skills will you contribute? -Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a self-driven spirit.

-Excellent communication skills.

-Ability to see the big picture and propose/implement innovative solutions to enhance our customer’s experience.

-Deep knowledge of Kubernetes internals.

-Proficiency in using Infrastructure-as-Code tools.

-Rich experience in virtualization, familiar with tools like libvirt, KVM, and Kubevirt.

-Deep understanding of (Linux) networking with a special focus on minimizing latencies.

-Knowledge of Golang and Python is a plus!
