Role Description

Our Corporate IT Engineering team are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Atlassian Administrator to manage and optimize our suite of Atlassian products. We are undergoing a migration from JIRA on premises to JIRA Cloud, and this role will be crucial in ensuring our teams have the tools and support they need to collaborate effectively and drive productivity. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Atlassian applications, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain our Atlassian suite, including Jira Cloud, Confluence and other related tools. This includes user management, permissions, workflows, customizations, and integrations.

  • Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to ensure optimal performance and scalability.

  • Provide technical support and training to end-users on Atlassian tools and best practices.

  • Develop and maintain user documentation.

  • Design, implement, and maintain workflows, automations, and integrations to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

  • Evaluate, install, configure, and manage Atlassian Marketplace plugins to extend the functionality of the platform.

  • Implement and maintain security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

  • Work closely with stakeholders across different teams to understand their needs and provide effective solutions. Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations, processes, and best practices.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Atlassian features and best practices, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
