A bit about us:
An established, international technology/SaaS services entity is currently hiring for an experienced Senior Accountant (Remote) for an immediate need. This individual will support the firm's financial reporting and accounting functions to ensure the accuracy of reports and statistics reflecting earnings, profits, cash balances and other financial results. This will be a fully-remote position and will report to the firm's Controller.

Job Details
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting required
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in a financial accounting, reporting, controls, and analysis functions
- CPA/Previous public accounting preferred
- Oracle R12 and Hyperion Essbase experience required
- Intermediate-to-advanced MS Excel proficiency required
- Proficiency with systems and previous automation and/or process improvement a plus
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both oral and written
- Accomplish tasks in a timely manner and provides regular updates
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Job Details
- Prepare account reconciliations for assigned balance sheet accounts. Ensure reconciling items are properly documented, resolved in a timely manner and adjustments are prepared
- Prepare fluctuation analysis for revenue and related balance sheet accounts, identify trends, and ascertain reasonableness according to business activities
- Understand transactional workflow, be knowledgeable about the source of data and ensure data integrity. Lead initiatives to implement systems enhancements and automation opportunities
- Collaborate with business partners, FP&A and Billing to effectively understand and support business strategies and trends
- Prepare Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Financial Reports for submission to parent company, auditors and other internal and external customers
- Conduct analysis, identify unusual trends for further investigation
- Update process documentation for accounting processes assigned
- Ensure compliance with all company accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Prepare audit schedules for independent auditors including the support documentation, as requested
