Your Impact
Axon’s Customer Solution Engineering Team is looking for an Integration Software Engineer (Data Solutions Engineer). The engineer will create and configure new software integrations that pull in data from clients’ key systems and/or push data to clients’ systems, will enhance our existing platform and will perform data extracts, transforms and loads into/from Axon’s public safety technology products. Axon’s platform automates officer workflows and provides law enforcement administrators and crime analysts flexible access to key crime data, and investigational insights. The engineer's work will directly benefit our UK and EU police force clients. Axon has lead the global effort to protect life and through electric weapons, body cameras, a number of real-time sensors, public safety software products and AI tools. Axon is uniquely positioned to tie together every aspect of an incident in order to help law enforcement agencies better prepare for what might happen, respond efficiently and effectively, deliver justice, ensure the well being of their officers, and increase the safety of communities. Working together with our customers and product teams, you will build the foundation for Axon’s outcome-oriented data efforts.
What You'll Do
Location: Remotely from the United Kingdom Reports to: Manager Architect, Software Services UK Direct Reports: 0
Join forces: With our internal teams, third party vendors and clients on data migration and active interface integration projects
Developing and maintaining pipelines on Axon’s data integration and crime management solutions.
Aim Far: Automating processes that support Axon’s project delivery and evolution at scale
Own It: Taking ownership and contributing to raising the bar of capability and performance through process improvement, ideation, influencing peers, advising leaders, coaching and mentoring junior team members

What You Bring
5+ years of technical experience in related field
Experience with customer production systems.
Great communication skills and experience liaising with internal and external stakeholders of diverse backgrounds
High level of proficiency in Python, SQL and at least one scripting language (Bash, Powershell etc.).
Experience with JSON, XML, REST APIs (Postman, Insomnia, etc.) and YAML.
Understanding of deploying software to cloud hosts, environmental segregation and using container-based platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).
Backend engineering experience is a plus.
Experience of all stages of both waterfall and agile software development lifecycles
Desirable skills: Build/deployment of on-premise software
Desirable: Bachelor's Degree in a technical or quantitative field, OR graduate of coding boot camp
Demonstrable history of at least 5 years UK residency to gain required security clearance(s) and must maintain confidential and highly sensitive information.
