Do you get excited by working on cutting-edge Computer Vision models to bring Artificial Intelligence applications to the next level? We are expanding our team with a Customer Engineer Board Support Package Specialist to help customers deploy and optimize their models for our state-of-the-art neural-network accelerator chip. Your work will bridge the gap between the products of our customers, various computer vision applications (security camera, drone, retail, robotics, etc.), deep learning acceleration, and our AI accelerator.

Your role 

Your role will mainly include the following: 

• Help design proof of concepts for customers, focusing on embedded programming and compilation

• Understanding and applying our software tools to optimize deep learning applications so they run efficiently on our chip

• Build application pipelines for AI applications using our SDK

• Analyse and assist dataflow designs

• Modifying or adding python based neural-network compiler code

• Profiling applications written in C/C++ at Linux application-level, kernel-level and Real-Time operating System stack as well as bare metal C code

• Communicating your results to team members and customers

Your profile: • At least 5 years of experience with Python and C/C++

• Experience with Bash, scripting and Build Tools

• Experience in design and/or improvement of applications written with parallel programming frameworks: CUDA, OpenCL, SYCL, Halide or similar

• Experience in design or improvement of interconnected host-device systems (PCIe devices, devices connected over USB or other peripheral interfaces) or multi-device systems

• Experience working with embedded systems running Real-Time Operating Systems such as: FreeRTOS, RTEMS, Zephyr

• Experience debugging and/or developing the Linux kernel or Linux kernel modules

• A strong understanding of and experience with TVM is a plus

• Experience with at least two different hardware platforms (Intel, ARM, etc.) is a plus

• Problem-solving mindset, capable of debugging and patching software issues

• Good oral and written English communication skills

• You are a team player and you are also able to autonomously plan and perform tasks

• You have a strong sense of responsibility and want to realize high ambitions

Location

We offer a flexible working arrangement, with the option to work from or relocate near an Axelera AI office (Leuven in Belgium, Eindhoven in the Netherlands, Zurich in Switzerland, Milan in Italy or Bristol in the United Kingdom) or work fully remotely from any European country.
