Enveritas builds solutions to improve sustainability in agricultural supply chains and include smallholder farmers in responsibly sourced agricultural supply chains.

We are a non-profit with an expanding team working across 30+ countries around the world, with a remote-first environment and hubs in diverse locations such as Uganda, Colombia and New York.

Enveritas brings together tech and machine learning with rigorous field processes to collect and process data on supply chain sustainability (from social and economic challenges all the way to deforestation and carbon footprints), and run programs that advance the cause of smallholder farmers. This is made possible by a dedicated and diverse team, with profiles coming from leading consultancies & banks, commodity traders, development organizations, data science, and tech companies.

Enveritas works with multinational and specialty coffee roasters companies to give them the tools to understand the sustainability risks within their supply chain and mitigate them by funding impact programs.

Our Partnerships team is responsible for establishing relationships with clients and reaching out to new prospects to offer our solutions. The team manages client relationships to maximize revenue for Enveritas and drive value for the client.

We are looking for exceptional talent to join the Partnerships team and help build-out Enveritas' client relationships, with a particular eye towards expanding into one-step adjacent commodities, beyond our core competence of coffee, such as palm oil, rubber and cocoa.

We are primarily looking for experienced industry professionals, with an interest in sustainability, regenerative agriculture, carbon sequestration / emissions, and ultimately improvement of farmer livelihoods.

This position is remote with a home base in Europe, and will be on a contractual basis.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead the charge into new market segments, with a particular focus on one or more of palm oil, rubber or cocoa.

  • Servicing clients, including generating insights on sustainability topics, building and editing reports, and managing client relationships.

  • Manage and work with global colleagues on special projects on a wide range of sustainability topics, such as greenhouse gas emissions, deforestation, farmer cost of production, and school attendance.

  • Participate in discussions and working groups with clients on various sustainability topics, such as living income, regenerative agriculture, carbon footprint, and impact

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ relevant work in one or more of the target sectors.

  • Experience in commodity trading, consulting, business, finance, quantitative research, data analysis, international development, or sustainable agriculture.

  • Bachelor’s degree and excellent academic record, related to development studies, economics, business, statistics, or other relevant discipline.

  • Strong analytical competencies, with experience in navigating through large datasets to derive relevant insights with the use of data exploration or analysis techniques.

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Docs applications, familiarity with quantitative data collection software/platforms; knowledge of Python or other programming languages beneficial, but not required. Proficiency with Hubspot would be a bonus.

  • Fluency in English (required); Working proficiency in other foreign languages beneficial, but not required.

Who You Are

You thrive in dynamic environments where operational and business needs can change quickly. You enjoy not only solving problems but also uncovering and making sense of ambiguous challenges. You should be comfortable working both independently and as a thoughtful collaborator.
