Summary:
The Vice President, Global Account Management - Cloud will be based US - Remote, reporting to Olav Schroeder.
The goal of the Global Account Management role is to develop strategic plans to ensure that their specific account delivers benefits and capabilities that the organization can utilize to sustain, enhance and deliver organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
Strategy
Recognize account strategy and how it contributes to larger portfolio.
Identify opportunities to capture market allotment in line with organizational goals.
Sell value over price.
Set vision, strategy and direction for organization.
Develop and execute 3-year planning process and dedication.
Know what business we want, and what we don’t want.
Deep knowledge of Operations, Finance, Supply Chain and Business.
Grow Revenue and Profit faster than the market.

Comprehension of inner workings of P&L and Balance Sheet and how to pull multiple levers to bring value to Customers.
Clear comprehension of negotiation tactics and strategy.
Sell verticals from Flex portfolio of products and services.
Customer Business
Influence with Customers.
Navigate complex matrixed organizations.
CxO engagement and influence.
Clear comprehension of Customer goals and how Flex can deliver value.
Say/Do ratio across Ops and Commercial.
Knowledge of products and markets.
Design resilient supply chains to increase customer contentious.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering or related discipline.
MBA is strongly preferred.
Typically requires +10 years in sales/global account management.
Typically requires at least 7 years of management or supervisory experience.
Demonstrates mastery of functional knowledge in relation to other functions and a complete understanding of the function and those of related businesses.
Requires excellent communication (written and verbal) skills and networking abilities.
Effective interpersonal skills with ability to negotiate and influence for positive outcomes.
Business acumen and proven ability to improve/turnaround key financial results.
Utilize tools to monitor departmental cost and cost trends, striving to continuously improve value.
Ability to identify creative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems (i.e. modification of responsibilities or consolidation of tasks or elimination of non-value-added processes).
Requires strong innovation skills and creativity.
Ability to influence and hold others accountable.
Strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
Must understand P&L.
