The Team: Talent Analytics partners with leaders across Netflix and the Talent organization to better inform decisions around workforce, talent and org strategy with relevant data and insights. The team leverages its diverse backgrounds and an interdisciplinary approach to define the strategy, approach, and tool(s) best suited to address the question at hand.

Talent analytics operates globally across all functions at Netflix. 

As a Technical Solutions Lead, Talent Analytics you will design and develop analytic tools and systems to influence reporting and analytics strategy for Talent Acquisition with the end goals of driving a smarter and more efficient recruitment strategy, optimizing the candidate experience, and hiring the best talent for Netflix. You will also be expected to serve as a consultant and thought partner to stakeholders and leaders, identifying opportunities to drive business objectives with data analysis and insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead multiple analytics projects to design, build, and launch dashboards and other unified scaled solutions in support of Talent Acquisition and broader Talent initiatives

  • Use  sophisticated  data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) to bring data and insights to life for stakeholders 

  • Build, optimize, and automate data transformation pipelines using tools like dbt, SQL, and Python.

  • Analyze business data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, while also preparing reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.

  • Empower data analysts and business users by providing accessible and well-documented data.

  • Collaborate with data engineers, fellow Talent Analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and requirements.

  • Provide training and ongoing support to data users, enabling effective utilization of data solutions.

  • Be a constant learner, active listener, and teacher to advance data science, people analytics, and our organization

You have:

  • Proven track record of designing and developing scalable analytic tools and systems

  • High-level of proficiency in standard tech stack (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Spark) and common data visualization tools (e.g., Streamlit, Tableau, Looker)

  • Familiar with fundamentals of Statistical Inference and Data Analysis as well as data engineering best practices

  • Effective data visualization and analytical skills to simplify complex business flows and data narratives.

Required:

  • 6+ years of relevant experience with building data products 

  • Bachelor's degree or compensatory experience in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.

This role can be on-site or remote.

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top-of-market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $80,000 - $280,000.

Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time salaried employees are immediately entitled to flexible time off.
