Why You’ll Love This Role

Cribl is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our Professional Services organization. We are a fast-growing, remote-first company with a mission to unlock the value of all observability data. At our core, we believe in shipping phenomenal products and doing good by our customers and communities. Our platform is deployed across some of the largest environments in the world, handling 100s of TBs and PBs of IT & Security data every day.

In this role, you’ll help customers achieve successful outcomes through structured delivery, communication, and execution excellence. You will help customers unlock value along their Cribl journey by  orchestrating service engagements, managing timelines and resources, and ensuring delivery milestones are met. This includes leading internal initiatives that improve how our team scales, operates, and innovates.

You’ll work with Product, Engineering, Support, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams to keep projects on track, remove roadblocks, and ensure customers and consultants are set up for success.

Why Cribl?

  • Work with teams solving big data challenges at unbelievable scale.

  • High ownership environment where your work will meaningfully improve delivery outcomes.

  • Your work will directly impact how quickly customers realize value from Cribl.

  • Remote-first culture built on trust, transparency, and doing the right thing for customers.

  • Are you excited to bring order, momentum, and clarity to complex projects? We certainly are at Cribl.

As an active member of our team, you will…

  • Act as the single-threaded owner for delivery success, proactively identifying risks, driving decisions, and taking corrective action to keep engagements on track.

  • Build and maintain delivery plans, schedules, milestones, and project artifacts for complex, technical customer environments, including data ingestion pipelines, distributed systems, and cloud-based architectures.

  • Proactively surface and resolve delivery risks, including pushing back on scope, timelines, or resourcing assumptions when necessary to protect customer outcomes and engagement health.

  • Partner with consultants, partner consultants and architects by coordinating activities, clearing blockers, and ensuring project momentum across multiple concurrent customer engagements.

  • Drive structured  kickoff-to-close delivery flow, including documentation, success tracking, and retrospective while ensuring delivery aligns with Statement of Work (SOW) scope, timelines, and utilization expectations.

  • Lead internal Professional Services initiatives that improve scale, repeatability, and operational efficiency.

  • Support creation of new templates, playbooks, runbooks, onboarding kits, and enablement assets.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Support, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to streamline customer outcomes.

  • Contribute to knowledge-sharing programs such as internal enablement, documentation, resource libraries, and PS tooling.

  • We are a remote-first company and work happens across many time-zones - you may be required to occasionally perform duties outside your standard working hours.

If You’ve Got It, We Want It

  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience leading customer-facing technical project delivery in a SaaS, cloud, or enterprise software Professional Services environment.

  • Strong understanding of cloud or enterprise software environments including the ability to discuss distributed data pipelines, ingestion architectures, scaling considerations, and common failure modes — even if not deploying hands-on

  • Proven experience managing multiple concurrent technical projects or customer-facing engagements typically 5–10 concurrent engagements with varying scopes and stakeholders.

  • Skilled in planning, scheduling, risk tracking, communication, and stakeholder management.

  • Familiar with Agile or hybrid PM methodologies and delivery frameworks.

  • Proficient with project management  & collaboration tools (Kantata/Mavenlink, Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, etc.).

  • Comfortable producing clear written delivery artifacts such as customer status updates, risk registers, and executive-ready summaries in a remote-first environment..

  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving projects to successful outcomes.

  • Bonus Points:

    • Experience in Professional Services or customer delivery organizations.

    • Exposure to SIEM/observability/log analytics (Splunk, Elastic, Sentinel, Exabeam, DataDog, etc.).

    • Background in data pipelines, security, cloud, or large-scale infrastructure environments.

    • Experience with service offerings, SOW execution, or delivery reporting metrics.

  • Ability to travel occasionally for key customer or team events.
