Job Description

We are looking for a Team Lead Shop Analytics (m/f/d) to be part of the development of our Shop Analytics Team. Our Shop Analytics Team circle is embedded in our new circle cluster “Customer & Shop Intelligence” and works in close cooperation with Tracking & Marketing Intelligence teams. The team strives to support stakeholders to analyze and interpret complex data sets, in order to make informed decisions. In addition, the team is responsible to provide a stable and maintainable technical infrastructure, but also collect, analyze and interpret data from various sources, to provide valuable insights and recommendations.

Shop Analytics is a key-enabler to support the business towards achieving goals and objectives as well as making educated decisions based on data.

 

What you will do

  • Lead and supervise a team of data analysts, offering guidance, direction, and assistance in their daily tasks.

  • Formulate and execute a comprehensive analytics strategy to align with the organization's business goals.

  • Gather and scrutinize data from diverse sources such as internal platforms, third-party tools, and market studies to detect trends, patterns, and potential opportunities.

  • Work alongside cross-functional teams to define performance indicators (KPIs) and create dashboards and reports for tracking and evaluating performance against benchmarks.

  • Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and innovations in analytics tools and technologies, evaluate their potential to improve our data analysis capabilities.

  • Drive data governance initiatives by establishing standards for data quality, ensuring data precision, and implementing security measures.

  • Offer actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders derived from data analysis, facilitating informed decision-making and fostering business expansion.

  • Collaborate with IT teams to optimize data infrastructure, systems, and tools for efficient data gathering, storage, and analysis.

  • Effectively communicate analytical findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through presentations, reports, and visual aids.

  • Establish a culture of data-driven decision-making within the organization, advocating for the use of analytics to drive ongoing improvement and innovation.

  • Engage with various stakeholders across departments including Web, App, Brand Advertisement Solutions, Marketing, etc.

 

Who you are

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in analytics or a related field with approx. 2 years in a leadership role

  • Good leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

  • Proven experience in data analysis, visualization tools, such as Tableau or Looker Studio

  • Experience transforming and analyzing big-scale tracking data (~1TB per day) collected via Google Analytics or similar tools

  • Knowledge of Data Orchestration Tools (like Airflow, dbt, AWS step functions, GCP workflows)

  • Technical background - with good knowledge of SQL and Python

  • Experience in working with large datasets and using statistical analysis techniques and methodologies 

  • Proficiency in data modeling and data manipulation

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
