About:
The System Engineerisresponsible formanagingourWindowssystems infrastructureacross the enterpriseto ensureour services are reliable, secure,scalableandperformant.
Whatyou’llbe doing:
Design,deploy and manage Windowssystems infrastructureandassociated servicesi.eActive Directory, Group Policies, DNS servicesetc
Develop and automatesystemprocessesto reduce manual intervention and minimize operational overhead.Utilize scripting and programming languages to automate tasks
Implement and manage infrastructureascode using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible or similar technologies
Activelyparticipatein incident management processes, quicklyidentifyingand resolving issues. Conduct root cause analysis to prevent future incidents
Analyze andoptimizesystem performance using monitoring and logging tools. Work to improve response times anddecreasedowntime.
Collaborate closely with other engineering teams to enhance security,reliabilityandscalability
Monitorinfrastructure andanalyzeperformance metrics toidentifyareas forimprovement.
Create andmaintaindocumentation for systems,processesand procedures to ensure knowledge sharing across teams
Stayupdated on industry trends and emerging technologies
Whatwe'llwant you to have:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
5+ years of experienceleveragingautomation tomanage Windows systems and infrastructure
In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
Experiencewithinfrastructure as code(IaC) tools such as Terraformand CloudFormation
Strong technicalexperience implementing,managingand supportingwindows systems infrastructure
Proficiencyin one or more programming languages(Python,Power shell)
Goodinterpersonal skillsto work effectively withinand outside of the immediate team
Able to work flexible hours as required by business priorities; Available on a 24x7x365 basis when needed for production impacting incidents or key customer events.
