We are currently looking for a System Support Engineer to join our team.
Job Description
What You’ll Do
Manage the deployment and upkeep of internal network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless equipment
Install, configure, and maintain internal servers and services
Implement infrastructure changes and improvements
Plan and execute regular infrastructure maintenance to ensure system health and uptime
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues within the infrastructure at both hardware and software levels
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
Proven, relevant experience in a similar or closely related role
Strong understanding of networking concepts, routing and switching, at a level equivalent to CCNA certification
Hands-on experience with Cisco hardware and Remote Access VPN solutions (Cisco ASA or Firepower)
Nice to Have
Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
Programming skills in Go or Python
Proficiency in Linux systems administration
Experience working with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Puppet, Ansible, Terraform)
Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
Understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Podman, Kubernetes)
