Overview:
M247 is looking for a Senior Wireless Networking Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of wireless technologies and experience designing and implementing wireless networks.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement and manage wireless networks
Conduct site surveys and coverage testing
Develop and maintain network documentation
Participate and lead in the design, planning, and implementation of wireless systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive network solutions
Troubleshoot wireless network issues
Personality Traits:
Extremely performance driven
Ability to work independently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Qualifications:
Solid understanding of wireless technologies, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE, 5G, and other wireless protocols
CWDP, CCNP Wireless, ACMP or equivalent experience
Strong Ekahau experience in conducting wireless site surveys (Predictive, Active, Passive, Post, Spectrum, and Outdoor) designing and troubleshooting wireless networks
Strong understanding of Cisco DNAC, ISE, 802.1x, MAB, ClearPass, Routing and Switching.
Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in wireless networking
Expertise in Cisco and Aruba wireless technologies and solutions
Requirements:
Must pass a thorough background check and 12-panel drug test
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
Travel requirement up to 50%
US citizens or green card holders only
1099 or C2C only
No agencies or recruiting firms
Compensation:
Hourly rate range $85 - $115
Travel expenses reimbursed per client travel policy
