This role will be responsible for building software solutions that enable advertisers to drive success and growth on the Pinterest platform. You’ll have a unique opportunity to work directly with our top clients to help them design and build on the Pinterest platform, as well as build tools that add leverage or efficiency for the broader Performance Solutions Org.

The Performance Solutions team sits within the Global Sales Strategy (GSS) organization. Performance Solutions delivers through strategic guidance, operational excellence, and technical expertise to improve the effectiveness of advertising campaigns, resulting in increased client ROI. We work to understand, innovate, and scale cross-functional workflows. We are responsible for measuring process impact and making our business more efficient with consistent execution while embarking on building the next generation of data-driven best practices.

What you’ll do:

  • Build and maintain technical solutions for our advertisers, partners, and internal teams in an agile environment.

  • Contribute to and lead each step of the development process, from requirements gathering and ideation to implementation and release.

  • Work with product managers, technical project managers, and stakeholders to understand new requirements and address them in a scalable and efficient manner.

  • Actively work to improve the developer process and experience in all phases, from coding to release.

What we’re looking for:

  • 4+ years of industry development experience, building consumer or business-facing products

  • Proficiency in common backend/data tech stacks for RESTful API, online service, storage, caching, and data processing

  • Solid understanding of SQL and experience working with analytical databases

  • Experience in following best practices in writing reliable and maintainable code

  • Ability to keep up-to-date with new technologies to understand what should be incorporated

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

  • Experience in Python, Javascript, or another language and a willingness to learn

  • Experience with Jupyter Notebooks and other Python data frameworks a plus
