Solutions Consultant
eClinical Solutions helps life sciences organizations around the world accelerate clinical development initiatives with expert data services and the elluminate Clinical Data Cloud – the foundation of digital trials. You will make an impact:
The Solutions Consultant (SC) will be responsible for working with Business Development to demonstrate the elluminate® Clinical Data Cloud to targeted prospects. In this role, You will work directly with Business Development Directors in identifying customer challenges in relation to leveraging their operational and clinical data and use those insights to formulate and conduct product demonstrations to address the client pain points.

Your day to day:
Articulate a broad understanding of the challenges the Life Sciences industry faces with gaining control and leveraging clinical, operational, and real-world data related to clinical development
Understand and articulate how eClinical, and elluminate solves these challenges and helps implement a clinical data strategy
Work with Business Development Directors to understand specific data challenges and necessary use cases of a targeted client for structuring a product demonstration
Ensure elluminate demonstration environment is adequately configured with demonstration data to perform needed product demonstrations
Train on, and in turn be able to discuss technical aspects of elluminate to include elluminate infrastructure and IT requirements
Train on and be able to showcase technical aspects of elluminate to include data ingestion, mapping, standardization and elluminate core functions
Train on and be able to showcase advanced analytic scenarios using elluminate’ s Clinical Data Analytics, Clinical Trial Operation Analytics, Data Central Analytics, Oncology Analytics, CTMS insights and RBQM modules
Script potential use case based on elluminate capabilities and the above-mentioned analytic modules for various targeted functions during sales process
Work with internal product teams to learn and articulate the value and functionality of product enhancements and new releases
Provide customer feedback received from customer meetings and demonstrations to appropriate internal teams including Product, Engineering, and others as appropriate
Work with Sr. Director of Data Strategies to share best practices to further enhance our product demonstrations and exposure to elluminate in the industry
Represent eClinical and demonstrate elluminate at trade shows where appropriate
As applicable, work with Sr. Director of Data Strategies to respond to RFP’s/RFIs regarding clinical data repositories

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
3+ years relevant experience in clinical/biomedical and/ or software development environment preferred
1+ years of experience working with at least 1 programming language (preferably SQL/SAS/Python/R) or any BI tool such as Tableau, Qlik, Power BI
Knowledge of Clinical Trial processes, specifically as they related to data collection, management, and preparation for statistical analysis
Good experience working with clinical trials in a data management-related role, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to translate specifications into a cohesive demonstration
Ability to react to constructive criticism and remain neutral
Strong collaboration and team-building skills
Strong client facing and presentation skills
Self-motivating, able to assume responsibility and work autonomously in a professional manner
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational and time management skills
Ability to think logically to solve complex problems
Experience in a similar role that requires a mix of technical and client-facing skills would be a plus, for example (but not limited to):
Solutions engineer/architect/developer with customer-facing and/ or demo responsibilities
Lead engineer/developer with customer-facing and/ or demo responsibilities (line management responsibilities would also be a plus)
Strong understanding of clinical data systems to include collection sources such as EDC, CTMS, Safety, ePRO / eCOA, and other acquisition technologies
Ability to work with technical / engineering staff and translate new software features into real world examples
Experience demoing clinical systems such as EDC, CTMS, Analytics etc
Solid analytical and technical skills regarding software applications
