Software Engineer
About the Role
We are growing quickly and looking for product-oriented full-stack software engineers to join our engineering team. In this role you will:
Partner closely with other members of the engineering team to define, scope and execute on product requirements and team-level goals;
Build and ship new features and enhancements to improve the user experience for employees and employers;
Participate and invest in our engineering health and processes to ensure we are building sustainably and securely;
Communicate effectively on progress and get unstuck when needed
About You
We are looking for people with:
2+ years of experience as a software engineer.
Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and with other functions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to understand and execute in complex domains by breaking things down into manageable pieces.
Experience with modern software tools and processes (git, CI/CD, testing, deployment, cloud platform services, etc).
Experience with our technical stack (Django, React, Python, JS, Postgres, Heroku) is a plus but not required.
Ultimately, though, most important to us is someone who is passionate about applying technology to real difficult problems, who loves building beautiful useful products, and who finds our mission compelling. If that is you, please reach out to us!
Compensation
This is a full-time salaried, exempt position. Compensation ranges from $100,000 to $140,000 and is based on your experience and legal state of residence.
