Purpose

As a Software Engineer, within the New Products team; you will be working with a dedicated team whose mission is to develop bold and unique ideas to implement. You’ll be part of the team that materializes Kueski’s new products. This is a team that works fast, breaks things, and learns. 

We are looking for an engineer who is open to experimentation. One day you can be working on chatbots, the next in mobile, and the next in IoT. Engineers within the New Products team constantly learn new skills and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.

  • Conduct tests and optimize performance.

  • Participate in the product life cycle.

  • Attend regular meetings to expose weaknesses and problemsConfigure cloud services.

  • Collaborate with other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.

  • Contribute to the materialization of ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends.

Position Requirements

  • Fluency in specific languages, such as GO, Ruby, or Python. 

  • Familiarity with at least one mobile programming language, preferably Flutter. 

  • Adaptability to new technologies and frameworks; demonstrated by experimenting with different programming languages and technologies. 

  • Strong understanding of the development cycle and programming techniques and tools.

  • Strong problem-solving and verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently or with a group.

  • Experience and understanding of software design patterns.

  • Fundamentals of relational databases.

  • Experience with at least one database engine.

  • Experience in integrating, designing, and building APIs.

  • Experience with at least one architectural pattern.

  • Prior involvement in product development.
