Senior Software Engineer - New Markets & Models
About Grow
Grow is building the mental health platform of choice for insurance providers, healthcare systems, primary care physicians, and employers. The New Markets & Models (M&M) team drives the company’s next generation of growth by identifying, validating, and scaling new commercial models and referral channels.
About the Role
We’re hiring a full-stack Software Engineer to help build the foundational systems that power new patient acquisition channels, support early complex partnerships, and enable experimentation in emerging markets. You’ll join a newly formed, nimble, and highly executive-aligned team where engineering work directly influences strategic direction and company-wide growth.
This role is fully full-stack: you’ll work across backend services (Python/Flask) and frontend applications (React/TypeScript). You should be comfortable shipping production code across the stack, collaborating with engineering leads on architectural patterns, and iterating quickly as new opportunities emerge.
Why This Role Is Exciting
You’ll join a high-impact, high-visibility team building the systems that unlock Grow’s next wave of growth. You’ll operate with meaningful ownership, move quickly, and see your work directly influence product direction, technical foundations, and patient access on a national scale.
What You’ll Work On
You’ll help build the systems and workflows that enable Grow to expand into new channels, partnerships, and commercial models. Your work will span early-stage product development, scalable infrastructure, and user-facing experiences. Examples include:
Building foundational systems that support new referral pathways, integrations, and patient experiences.
Developing tools and workflows that improve how new partners, channels, or markets connect into Grow’s platform.
Collaborating on new initiatives from idea to launch, helping translate early concepts into working software.
Improving platform reliability and performance as new use cases and volumes emerge.
Supporting experimentation and iteration as the team evaluates new opportunities throughout the year.
Shaping technical patterns and best practices for a newly formed, fast-moving team.
Who You Are
Experience building production features — You’ve contributed meaningfully to real-world systems and can own development tasks with guidance.
Full-stack capable — You’re comfortable working across backend APIs and frontend interfaces, ideally with Python and modern React/TypeScript.
Systems-minded — You care about reliability, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
Outcome-oriented — You think beyond code and focus on how your work drives business and user value.
Adaptable and resourceful — You enjoy building in ambiguity, iterating quickly, and navigating shifting priorities.
Collaborative — You communicate clearly, work well across functions, and contribute to a supportive team culture.
Bonus Points
Experience using AI-assisted dev tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot).
Background in healthcare data, EHR systems, or regulated environments.
Familiarity with B2B integrations, multi-party workflows, or data exchange patterns.
