Senior SDET
Why this role matters:
You are a senior technical leader who architects and drives quality, security, and observability across the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring our Network API platforms (e.g., CAMARA) are reliable at scale and accelerating developer productivity.
Your key responsibilities:
Architect and evolve automated test frameworks and cases for our global telco operator APIs and customer-facing interfaces.
Influence architecture and design reviews with a focus on testability, performance, and long-term automation strategy.
Partner with Product to turn concepts into clear, testable requirements, acceptance criteria, and debugging strategies.
Own initiatives end-to-end—from ideation through implementation, automated validation, deployment, and monitoring.
Build and maintain scalable CI/CD-aligned test suites (unit, integration, contract, performance, security) and close coverage gaps.
Mentor peers and collaborate across teams to standardize tooling and solve common quality/observability challenges.
Continuously improve processes, tooling, and documentation, capturing root causes to raise the quality bar.
What you'll bring
Required:
B.S./B.A. degree in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics, or equivalent technical experience.
Proficiency in Python 3 and testing frameworks such as Pytest or Pytest-Bdd.
Proven experience designing and implementing automated test suites that measurably reduce defect escape.
Expert debugging and profiling skills (logs, traces, profiling) with a bias for rapid root-cause isolation.
Strong understanding of API design with knowledge of REST APIs and ability to design whole systems.
Influential cross-team partner who mentors peers, drives consistent quality patterns, and advocates for secure architectures.
Proactive collaboration and communication to surface risks early, clarify ambiguity, and keep stakeholders aligned.
Experience we consider a plus:
Experience with CI/CD deployments frameworks/tools like GitHub Actions or ArgoCD.
Familiarity with languages like Kotlin, JavaScript, or Vue.
Familiarity with backend frameworks like Micronaut or Spring.
Knowledge of Kubernetes, Networking, and Cloud Services (AWS preferred).
How you’ll benefit:
Local benefits:
Private Medical Insurance
Group Pension Plan
Life Insurance and Group Personal Accident
Ericsson Care Line (EAP)
Discretionary Time Off (DTO)
Volunteer Time (VTO)
Additional benefits and perks will be shared and discussed with you by the recruiter during the interview process
