The Role

Warp is seeking a creative and results-oriented Senior Product Marketing Manager to shape the roadmap, orchestrate launches, grow adoption of important features, and develop our GTM strategy for key developer segments. 

You will shape our messaging and positioning, craft the narrative for how our products deliver value to developers, and work closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Sales, and Growth. We expect this person to play a key role developing 0-1 products and bringing multiple high priority products to market. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about connecting with the developer audience. You are a storyteller that has deep empathy for developers, you are data informed, possess strong abilities to lead complex projects and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.  This role reports to the Head of Growth.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Product Roadmap and Launches: Collaborate with Product Management to prioritize features, influence the roadmap, and lead successful go-to-market strategies for product launches.

  • Develop Messaging and Positioning: Craft compelling narratives and clear positioning for Warp’s features, differentiating us in the developer tools market.

  • Lead Brand Storytelling: Shape Warp’s overarching narrative, translating technical concepts into engaging content that resonates with developers and enterprise teams.

  • Conduct Market and Customer Research: Gather insights through research, interviews, and competitive analysis to inform product strategies and marketing initiatives.

  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Product, Growth, and Marketing teams to align on campaigns and drive product adoption.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years prior product marketing experience with a strong focus on the developer audience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work across both highly technical and highly creative teams 

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making

  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, high impact product launches 

  • Deep product intuition and demonstrated ability to uncover insights and latent user needs 

  • Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams, ideally in a fast-paced startup or high-growth environment

  • You have a passion for learning more about the terminal and developer tools.

  • You are willing to roll up your sleeves to do all things necessary to make an early-stage startup successful.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in developer tools, infrastructure, or related industries

  • You have experience coding or a technical background

  • The team is hiring with a location preference for hybrid/in-office in San Francisco, CA or New York, NY

Salary Transparency

Total compensation at Warp consists of two parts: 1) a competitive base salary, and most importantly, 2) meaningful equity.

The budgeted compensation amount for this role is targeted at $ $170,000-$200,000.
