About the role

Our Partnerships Manager will lead the evolution of our milestone rewards program, and be the primary point of contact for partner relationships, managing ongoing initiatives and exploring new opportunities to enhance our brand and product positioning. You’ll oversee co-marketing activities, negotiate contracts, and work with our internal operations team to track performance and success of our partnerships. Reporting into the director of integrated marketing, this role will be the champion in evolving our partnerships program, improving value as we scale.

In this role, you will: 

1) Own the holistic partnership strategy and program

  • Develop and execute a plan to scale partnerships as a channel to deliver against the company’s goals, emphasizing opportunities to enhance brand and attract new clients

  • Drive the evolution of the partnerships program, creating unique value propositions

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to refine program direction based on market trends, client feedback, and performance data, ensuring the program meets both brand and acquisition goals

2) Manage partner relationships

  • Act as the main point of contact for all partners, fostering strong and ongoing relationships

  • Manage reviews with partners, working closely with our internal partnerships operations lead to track and share performance learnings

  • Oversee creative approvals, ensuring all co-marketing aligns with brand standards

3) Lead co-marketing activity

  • Own partner co-marketing surfaces in partnership with our internal working group spanning Product Marketing and Product

  • Manage co-marketing initiatives across relevant touchpoints - including social, lifecycle, and event-based activations - to drive brand visibility, community engagement, and client acquisition

4) Drive business planning and development

  • Revisit and renegotiate existing contracts to support partnership evolution and ensure continued value

  • Lead business development efforts to identify and secure high-impact partners that bring in new value to our clients

  • Own pitching, negotiation, and implementation for new partnership perks as the program grows, ensuring the program remains compelling

  • Serve as the point of contact for inbound partnership inquiries and evaluating potential for impact against our goals

Skill you’ll bring:

  • Great taste and knowledge / network of cool brands

  • 4-7 years experience in partnership management, business development, or a related role

  • Strong relationship-building and client management skills with proven experience in negotiating and managing successful partnerships

  • A maker owner attitude who takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment (this function will be a team of 1, supported by cross-functional partners in Product Marketing, Product, and Operations)

  • High business acumen to develop rewards that are both compelling to to the client and financially attractive for us

  • Collaborative and able to work effectively with cross-functional teams
