Role Description
We are looking for a passionate Senior Tax Manager to join our team. You will support the tax reporting and compliance processes and assist with our tax accounting and direct tax functions. You'll be joining a fast-paced, dynamic multinational enterprise and will gain experience in a wide range of tax disciplines. Our ideal candidate is hands-on, analytical and enthusiastic, and has strong technical and communication skills.
Responsibilities
Assist with ASC 740 tax provision and tax accounting processes
Review federal, state & local tax returns and estimates, ensuring timely payments
Analyze and reconcile tax accounts and perform flux analyses
Prepare financial statement disclosures related to income taxes
Develop and document tax positions
Drive process efficiencies in the tax return processes, including leveraging automation
Actively monitor and analyze federal, state and local tax legislation that may impact our operations
Manage special projects, including tax policy planning and forecasting
Requirements
You have 6+ years of combined corporate tax and public accounting experience
You're able to produce timely deliverables and manage multiple and shifting priorities
You have a strong understanding of ASC 740
You're resourceful and have remarkable analytical and problem-solving abilities
You sweat the details and can drive projects to completion
You‘re able to engage and collaborate with other teams across Finance and beyond
You can communicate complex tax concepts in ways that are meaningful and useful to non-tax personnel
You've got a B.S. degree in Finance or Accounting; C.P.A. strongly preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Experience modeling tax scenarios
Project management experience (tracking projects/deadlines/deliverables)
Tech sector experience preferred; SAAS environment a plus
Experience with non-income tax matters is a plus
Intermediate+ level experience with Excel
