We are seeking a Senior Finance Associate to support our accounting function, manage collections and accounts payable, and lean in wherever might be needed. If you're passionate about having a positive impact and excited by the idea of democratizing access to care, we'd love to learn more about you. Key Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
Ability to understand US GAAP
Manage vendor invoices and the accounts payable process
Work closely with AMEX cardholders to ensure all receipts are submitted and transactions are categorized accordingly
Prepare monthly balance sheet journal entries and reconciliations for month end close
Responsible for monthly bank reconciliations
Assist with intercompany transactions and proper eliminations
Responsible for Company's customer invoicing process to ensure timely billing
Manage the collections process for accounts receivables
Assisting with customer inquiries and support tickets through external communication
Prepare annual 1099s for all independent contractors
Building new processes and to streamline current workflows to be more efficient
Collaborating cross functionally with Network Strategy, Account Management and working with external partners
Work closely with the Controller to ensure a clean and timely year-end audit for the external and internal procedures. Coordinate and produce documents for the financial statement auditors.
Special projects and ad hoc requests as needed
Desired skills and experience:
Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting or Finance
3-5 years of relevant accounting experience
In depth knowledge of US GAAP
Must be highly organized, have a strong attention to detail and exhibit solid problem- solving skills
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and to work across multiple teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Strong excel skills, may need to analyze large data sets
Experience with Workday preferred but not necessary
Familiarity with additional financial reporting tools usch as SaasOptics, Quickbooks, Avalara and Stripe, strongly preferred
Compensation
The target salary range for this position is $85,000-100,000 and we anticipate that most qualified candidates will fall near the middle of this range. Compensation for the successful candidate will be determined by the candidate’s unique combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. This role is also eligible for employee benefits and other compensation.
