What you'll do
Develop and provide support on automation for an assigned set of applications or system elements, specifically:
Critical automations that enhance the productivity of our Engineering teams
Building monitoring dashboards and their underlying data collection
Assist with project definition, scoping resource planning, execution, risk assessment, change control and monitoring.
Perform infrastructure installation, setup, administration and automated deployments.
Collaborate with other engineers and cross-functional technical team members to resolve platform issues.
Implement monitoring and alerting for applications and infrastructure, including monitoring dashboards
What you'll bring
Desire to be part of a talented and motivated team of engineers.
Proficiency in Python and one or more other modern programming languages.
Experience with data sources (RDS/Couch/Mongo/NoSQL).
Experience with data warehouses such as Snowflake or Salesforce.
Proven experience in cloud environments (AWS and GCP preferred).
Experience in Major incident management and change management transformations
Excellent communication skills, including writing, speaking and listening.
A strong desire to learn, build and grow.
Ability to:
Apply analytical skills to evaluate and interpret technical and system problems.
Analyze qualitative and quantitative information.
Work effectively with technical and non-technical people.
Handle software system infrastructure tasks, from requirements to production.
Desire to understand and gain expert knowledge of Vonage products and services.
What's required for application
Prior experience (at least 5 years) in a DevOps Engineering or related position.
