  • Develop and maintain resources for developers, such as open source demos and software tools, code samples, documentation, how-to guides, and tutorials

  • Engage communities across GitHub, Discourse, Reddit, X and LinkedIn to gather feedback and channel this feedback towards new and effective resources, programs or product feedback

  • Participate in the Iceberg and related developer data ecosystem and communities, building strong relationships with engineers, architects, product managers, and founders

  • Define and own metrics to measure the success of our developer content and outreach efforts and initiatives

  • Travel to speak at conferences and other community events

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Experience and passion working with open source communities to drive developer adoption, fuel contributor momentum. Prior experience working with open source foundations a plus (e.g. ASF, CNCF, LF, NumFocus etc.)

  • A background in developer relations, technical writing, software engineering or related role

  • Passion for data management paradigms, a comfortable understanding of the components of the modern data stack (datalakehouses, semantic layers, ELT, reverse ETL etc.), developer tools and best practices (such as version control, CI/CD, containers, data streaming etc.) and data platforms (Snowflake, AWS, GCP, Azure)

  • Experience in writing code sample projects, demos, or tutorials in Python and SQL at minimum

  • Experience working within cross-functional teams (product management, marketing, product engineering, support, customer success, etc).
