Seeking to hire a Contractor based out of Brazil, Argentina or Mexico for Senior Backend Software Engineering Services.
Scope of Services:
Back-end engineering services for the content API's and content engineering teams.
Maintain our content licensing and provisioning and visibility technologies by building out our architecture to encompass the growing features and permutations of content acquired. Own the expanding and governing content and metadata APIs
Help maintain and grow our back-end data stores, work with cross teams to expand the end points to fit and be versatile for different UX's and consumption points.
Strong communication abilities with app developers and data stakeholders relating to data system changes and data inquiries.
Strong ability to translate product data requests into meaningful content api design.
Deep domain knowledge and radiation of that knowledge through documentation, recorded demos, technical presentations, discussions, and incident reviews experience with python web frameworks.
Strong ability to conduct root-cause analyses relating to queries about data irregularities and complex bugs
Why you're a great fit:
You have 5+ years of backend experience in software development and have demonstrated success working in a software as a service (SaaS) environment.
You are able to leverage your intermediate experience in Python to effectively build and deploy highly performant and well tested REST APIs and create performant data models.
Additionally, you have a firm understanding of relational databases and experience in writing SQL and optimizing data models, as well as writing and optimizing queries with scalability and performance in mind.
On top of your technical skills, you are excited to work in a collaborative and inclusive environment that supports continued improvement through code reviews and feedback.
You take pride in your ability to identify missing requirements early in the development cycle, create and maintain performant and scalable backend systems, write resilient and testable code, and deliver on sprint commitments.
