We are seeking a QA Automation Lead (C1 English required) to join our growing team. If you’re passionate about building scalable automation frameworks, defining automation strategies, improving testing processes, and mentoring QA teams in adopting automation best practices, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer with strong experience designing and implementing automation frameworks from scratch. This role will be key in helping scale our automation practices, establish governance, and guide the evolution of our QA processes.
The ideal candidate will not only build automation solutions but also define strategies, best practices, and mentor manual QA engineers in their transition toward automation.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks from scratch.
Define and implement automation strategies, coding standards, naming conventions, and folder structures.
Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to ensure automation coverage across the test pyramid (unit, integration, and end-to-end).
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Establish automation governance, workflows, quality gates, and reporting metrics.
Maintain clear documentation, automation guidelines, and runbooks.
Help prioritize and address the existing automation backlog.
Mentor and support manual QA engineers transitioning to automation practices.
Ensure automation solutions are scalable, sustainable, and measurable long-term.
Experience
3+ years of hands-on experience in test automation.
Proven experience designing and implementing automation frameworks from scratch.
Experience mentoring or supporting QA teams in adopting automation practices.
Experience defining automation strategies, governance, and quality standards.
Technical Skills
Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).
Knowledge of test pyramid principles and automation best practices.
Experience creating and maintaining automation documentation and runbooks.
Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
Nice to Have
Experience in fintech or payment processing environments.
Experience implementing automation governance and quality metrics frameworks.
Experience managing or reducing large legacy automation backlogs.
