​​About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Production Planning Manager to drive our production planning processes to support our growing compounding business. You will leverage your problem-solving abilities, motivation, and experience to drive efficiency while scaling up our production planning practices and team members appropriately to support our sales. We are looking for a self-starter that will drive process improvement by building out tools and metrics to support the production planning team.

You Will:

  • Set and maintain target inventory levels and assortment for each pharmacy location

  • Create processes, tools and metrics to streamline current production planning day to day activities

  • Advise engineering on long term capacity requirements based on projected usage

  • Understand capacity constraints provide forward looking visibility of upcoming concerns

  • Articulate, document and mitigate all risks resulting from production capacity constraints

  • Manage and build out a team of planners appropriately as the business scales

  • Communicate relevant KPIs to operations leadership and drive solutions to open efficiencies and alleviate constraints

  • Work with operations and engineering teams to calculate projected capacity for all new machinery and equipment

You Have:

  • 8+ years experience in at least 2 of the following: Production planning, Supply planning

  • Expert in inventory management concepts with an understanding of the financial and operational implications of planning decisions

  • 3-5 years experience in a supervisory role with at least 3 direct reports

  • Advanced Excel proficiency including experience with data manipulations – Lookups, PivotTables, External Data Connections

  • Basic SQL and/or Python experience is a plus

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively communicate in a clear and concise manner

  • Ability to think through complex problems and resolve conflicts that arise from balancing multiple priorities

  • Detail-oriented and exceptionally organized

  • Demonstrated ability to organize resources and analyze alternatives to make effective decisions
