Summary

Our Database team at AWS specializes in ensuring the reliability and performance of RDS, DynamoDB and MongoDB systems. We provide expert support, analyze performance, and collaborate with other teams to ensure the operational effectiveness of databases. Join us to drive reliability!

What you'll do

• Manage and maintain database clusters, including installation, configuration, updates, backup, and restore.

• Analyze and optimize queries to improve database performance.

• Work aligned with data security policies such as access control and auditing to protect confidential data.

• Develop and test disaster recovery plans to ensure continued data availability in the event of system failures.

• Monitor database, identify and resolve performance issues, and diagnose and fix bugs and failures.

• Support projects with other areas, understand the requirements, and ensure that the database meets them appropriately.

• Work on an on-call schedule

• Write documentation, proposals, runbooks.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience with database RDS

• Ability to lead database and cloud computing environment projects

• Experience with DynamoDB and MongoDB database administration in cloud enviornments

• Advanced English

• Desirable AWS certifications

• Desireble knowledge in observability concepts as Grafana.
