As a Partner Solutions Architect, you will be the voice of our product and platform and a key technical resource for our ecosystem of partners. Your role will bridge the gap between external developers, partners, and our internal product and engineering teams by providing technical expertise, driving engagement, and enabling smooth integrations. This position is perfect for someone with a strong foundation in APIs, excellent communication skills, and a passion for empowering developers and partners.

You will also take the lead on defining and building our System Integrator (SI) Implementation Certification program as we expand our reach into regions not currently supported by our internal implementation team.

KEY SKILLS

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of API concepts, RESTful services, OAuth, and webhooks

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Ruby, or Go)

  • Experience with API development, testing tools (Postman, Swagger), and cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, or AWS)

  • Familiarity with integration platforms and the ability to guide partners through API integrations

Soft Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Experience working with developer communities or in a developer relations/advocacy role is a plus

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-first attitude

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders, often with competing priorities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Partner Enablement & Integration Support

  • Define, architect, and validate our SI Certification program, working with Product and Services and allowing 3rd party partners the ability to implement our Degreed platform, evolving from Services supported implementation to stand alone. This includes validation of technical partner implementations

  • Act as the primary technical liaison for partners, guiding them through the integration process and ensuring successful deployments of API-driven solutions

  • Provide hands-on support for partners during onboarding, API integration, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth product implementations

  • Ongoing support for partners post-launch to ensure smooth product integrations for joint clients and prospects

  • Administer all partner sandbox set up, application upskilling and enablement support

  • Conduct technical training sessions and workshops for partners, demonstrating how to utilize our APIs and SDKs effectively

API & Product Feedback

  • Gather insights from the developer community and partners, and provide actionable feedback to the product and engineering teams for improvements and new feature requests.

  • Work with the internal product teams to ensure that documentation and API references are up to date and developer-friendly.

Collaboration & Relationship Building

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Services, Product, Engineering, Marketing) to align developer advocacy and partner enablement initiatives with company goals.

  • Ability to support partners with minimal assistance from product and engineering teams.

  • Foster strong relationships with key external partners, helping them navigate technical challenges and unlocking opportunities for deeper collaboration.

  • 10-20% international travel is an expected part of this role to enable and equip our partners.

WHAT SETS YOU APART

  • 5+ years of experience in developer relations, technical support, technical implementation, technical success, technical product management, or a related technical role

  • At least 5+ years of experience in a SaaS Product environment where you are working with partners, especially in enabling and supporting technical integrations and APIs

  • Background in LMS/LXP/HR tech-related company is highly preferred
