About the Platform Engineering Team
We aim to design, build and provide scalable, secure, and stable infrastructure, while also enabling our engineers to quickly and easily deploy new code. The Wealthsimple ecosystem is primarily Ruby on Rails and JavaScript micro services, with state backed by Aurora (PostgreSQL) and Redis. The infrastructure-specific stack you will work on is powered by AWS, built by Ansible, deployed with Terraform, run on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, powered by Docker and Consul and finally, orchestrated by Nomad and “coming soon” Kubernetes.
Data-Delivery team is a part of Platform Engineering team in Wealthsimple and is mainly responsible of:
1. Designing, Administering and Maintaining the data stores for Wealthsimple including the data replication processes.
2. Administering Oracle EBS
3. Develop ETL pipelines, integrations and data validation reconciliation tools.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Partner with stakeholders across different product domains, and leadership, driving Oracle EBS GL related technical and functional problems at scale
Help Designing, Administering, Maintaining and Providing capacity planning for the Oracle EBS environment based on the limitations for GL module.
Provide techno-functional support for the Oracle E-Business Suite (mainly the GL module) and help the support team deliver projects and initiatives being prioritized
Design, build and develop customizations and reports.
Work in partnership with stakeholders to understand client requirements and business downstream processes with our Oracle EBS environment.
Create and maintain detailed documentation, including technical specifications, code documentation, and progress reports.
Work with a large amount of autonomy to set the technical & functional direction for scalable projects.
We’re looking for someone who has:
10+ Years experience as Oracle EBS Financial Techno-Functional Consultant
Excellent knowledge of Standard GL business processes flows in Oracle Financials suite and the backend related aspects (GL Schema).
Proficiency in designing and developing SQL and PLSQL program units.
Excellent communication skill & ability to work with a diverse workplace.
Sound knowledge of Oracle OCI cloud platform
An ability to understand how to organize and consolidate customers’ data in various formats and from various source applications.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical and functional solutions.
