Mid Full Stack Developer

Virtasant is a leading cloud consulting services provider. We heavily focus on lift & shift, cloud-native development, cloud cost optimization, and migration services. As a consulting company, we often are faced with the challenge of creating an engineering team in a matter of a week or two. To do that, we have created a secondary support business that runs an engineering talent network and provides staffing services.

At codersRank, we believe software engineers should be evaluated based on their actual work, contribution, and impact, instead of CVs or Online assessments. We help developers to easily highlight their professional work by creating profiles that are based on the developer's digital footprint (GitHub, Gitlab, Bitbucket, StackOverflow, Linkedin).

These profiles are used to share the developers' unique journey on various platforms (CV, Personal Website, Social Sites, GitHub, etc) and lead them to better opportunities.

We are a quickly growing, VC-backed startup. Our platform is already used by more than 53,000 software engineers. We work with both small and enterprise partners like Hays, Cisco, and Microsoft.

Responsibilities:

We don't expect you to log your working hours or install monitoring software so we can track your progress. But we expect you to get things done. We are a small, cross-functional team and so you will have a big impact with your individual contributions. We like to iterate on our product quickly, and you'll be part of rapid prototyping and release cycles across the stack. 

Other responsibilities include:

-Building, deploying, and monitoring new features.

-Working with product managers on improving the product while explaining the technical challenges and providing solutions.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of experience in Full-Stack Development

  • At least 4 years of professional experience in software development with Vue.js

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in software development with Golang

  • Experience with at least one database.

  • Good Data structure and algorithmic knowledge.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Understand principles of Object-Oriented Programming and Unit Testing.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with AWS.

  • Experience working with ElasticSearch, MongoDB, and BigQuery

  • Experience working with microservices orchestrated by Kubernetes

What we offer

• Totally remote, full-time (40h/week)

• Flexible work hours but with a mandatory overlap from 4 hours with Central European Time (CET)
