The Opportunity:

We're seeking a highly skilled and autonomous Senior Marketo Operations Specialist to join our dynamic Marketing Operations team in Hyderabad. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing Operations, this role is crucial for enabling our team to move faster and maintain peak performance within our complex Marketo instance (over 1 million records across multiple workspaces).

While our dedicated Marketing Automation team handles campaign creation, this role offers a unique opportunity to own critical aspects of our Marketo platform, drive operational excellence and collaboration with a world-class team. You'll work closely with our existing Marketo Lead, sharing responsibility for a variety of complex projects and providing the in-depth knowledge and execution 'between the lines' that empowers our operations.

What you’lldo

  • Manage and troubleshoot marketing technology platforms like Marketo, Salesforce, Goldcast, Qualified, Demandbase, iCapture, Swoogo, Consensus, Gong, LinkedIn Lead Gen, Clari, SalesLoft, and Asana – with a focus on how these platforms (and more) work together

  • Support new platform onboarding and integration processes, working closely with the internal stakeholders to ensure functionality, data, and outcome exceeds expectations

  • Maintain platform health by monitoring performance, conducting routine maintenance, and resolving technical challenges

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Data Lead to support data integration and flow across systems, ensuring accurate data synchronization

  • Provide documentation and training on platform functionalities to internal stakeholders

What you’ll do

  • Marketo Platform Oversight & Health: Take direct ownership of Marketo for instance health checks, user permissions, workspace management, and optimizing program templates to ensure peak performance and stability. You'll be the go-to expert for platform integrity.

  • Operational Program Maintenance: Manage and optimize our critical operational programs within Marketo, including lead scoring models and lead lifecycle management, ensuring they effectively support our marketing and sales funnels.

  • Integration Guardian: Oversee and maintain seamless data flow between Marketo and Salesforce (our CRM), along with other integrated systems in our MarTech stack (including Goldcast, Demandbase, Gong Engage, iCapture, Content Syndication Platforms, Swoogo, Qualified, and more). This includes proactive troubleshooting of integration issues and close collaboration with vendor partners.

  • Data Quality & Governance: Champion data quality and list hygiene within Marketo. You'll be responsible for list imports and ensuring compliance with data regulations, maintaining a clean and accurate database.

  • Reporting & Attribution Expertise: Develop and pull insightful reports and dashboards within Marketo. Leverage your strong understanding of program attribution and UTMs to ensure accurate tracking and provide actionable insights into campaign performance.

  • Experimentation & Optimization: Drive experimentation initiatives within Marketo to continually improve operational efficiency and potentially oversee Partner Operations within the platform, exploring new ways to leverage Marketo's capabilities.

  • Documentation & Enablement: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Marketo processes, configurations, and best practices. You'll also be responsible for providing crucial user training and support to empower other marketing teams.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing Automation team to ensure seamless handoffs and operational alignment. Collaborate with the Campaign Operations Lead to uphold process enablement and guidelines.

What we’ll want you to have:

  • 5+ years of hands-on Marketo experience, with at least 2-3 years dedicated specifically to a Marketing Operations role (not solely campaign management).

  • Demonstrable expertise in Marketo administration, including complex program build, lead scoring, lead lifecycle management, data segmentation, and reporting.

  • Deep understanding and proven experience with Marketo-Salesforce integration, including troubleshooting common data flow issues and ensuring seamless synchronization.

  • Strong analytical skills with a solid grasp of program attribution, UTMs, and the ability to extract meaningful insights from data.

  • Experience in setting up new integrations is highly desirable.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and platform integrity.

  • Proven ability to understand complex requirements and execute autonomously, demonstrating a knack for 'understanding what's between the lines.'

  • Solid understanding of data quality, list hygiene, and compliance best practices within a marketing automation context.

  • Experience with task management platforms like Asana is a significant plus.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • Ability to thrive in a very fast-paced, high-performing environment and manage multiple projects concurrently.

  • Adobe Certification (Professional, Expert, or Master) is a plus.
