About You

We are seeking a highly motivated, problem solving, and experienced data analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for solving problems, and assisting business stakeholders with forecasting. As an advanced data analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting marketing teams to better understand how changes in the business today will impact tomorrow. Your insights will drive better forecasting here at Nutrafol.

Responsibilities

  • Develop our monthly/quarterly/yearly sales forecast with the the marketing teams

  • Assist marketing and finance teams in scenario planning to build robust forecasts

  • Develop and implement robust forecasting models using statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms

  • Analyze large, complex datasets to extract meaningful patterns and insights that drive forecasting accuracy

  • Collaborate with Data Engineers to preprocess data and ensure data quality for modeling purposes

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Evaluate model performance and refine methodologies to improve accuracy and efficiency

  • Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior management.

Requirements

  • A degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field, or relevant business experience

  • Proven experience with at least 4-6 years working as a data analyst or similar role, with a focus on forecasting and predictive modeling within an eCommerce company.

  • Experience with time series analysis and regression modeling

  • Solid understanding of database systems and SQL proficiency for data manipulation and extraction.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters level degree in Business or quantitative field

  • E-commerce experience

  • Strong proficiency in statistical analysis tools and programming languages such as Python or R

  • Experience with machine learning techniques
