The Manager, Business Data serves as a pivotal technical expert in data management for GBS, ensuring data integrity through cleansing and aggregation, analyzing data trends, and establishing comprehensive reporting mechanisms, while fostering strong partnerships across business units to drive informed decision-making.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Aggregates, ingests, and cleanses data to ensure data integrity.
Analyzes data to understand opportunities/risks and trends.
Establishes multi-channel reporting framework to key business stakeholders.
Operates as the most senior technical expert, making business recommendations and contributions to decision making with GBS senior leaders and other key business stakeholders.
Partners with FP&A to ensure continuity of data and reporting across GBS and Finance.
Designs and implements data management strategy for GBS.
Establishes and maintains centralized mechanisms for data capture.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field.
8 years of demonstrated progressive experience successfully operating in this field.
Experience developing data management strategies and establishing associated mechanisms for data capture, analysis, and reporting. Must have the technical knowledge to facilitate, including but not limited to, advanced Excel, SQL, Python, and functional use of data visualization tools.
Must be proficient in English.
Travel includes occasional international trips every 12-24 months.
Occasional domestic travel.
