WHAT’S ON OFFER As a Lead Data Implementation Engineer, reporting to the Manager, Technical Implementations, you will own complex customer implementations end-to-end and act as a technical escalation point within the team. You will partner closely with Business Acceleration, Engineering, and Product to design scalable data solutions and ensure successful delivery for strategic customers.This role is ideal for someone who is deeply hands-on, technically strong, and comfortable leading complex integrations while mentoring more junior engineers. Lead complex, multi-system implementations for enterprise customers
Serve as an escalation point for implementation or customer data challenges
Partner with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success on roadmap priorities
Establish implementation playbooks, tooling standards, and quality benchmarks
Help shape and refine the technical delivery strategy for the team
Drive automation and scalability across onboarding and ingestion
Coach and develop Senior and Intermediate Implementation Engineers
Represent ODAIA as a technical leader in customer-facing forums
Evaluate new technologies and platforms to improve delivery performance
WHAT YOU BRING
8+ years of experience in data engineering, integrations, or platform implementations
Strong proficiency in programming (e.g., Python, SQL), database management, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS)
Strong background in distributed systems and cloud-native architectures
Proven experience leading technical teams or functions
Experience designing data platforms used by non-technical users
Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
Deep understanding of data security, compliance, and governance
Life sciences / pharma domain experience highly preferred
Track record of building scalable implementation frameworks

As such, the final offer may vary based on these specific factors. Salary expectations will be discussed collaboratively early in the process to ensure alignment. This role is also eligible for health benefits, stock options, and flexible time off policies as mentioned above.
