IT Change & Licensing Manager

Manages the planning, and coordination, communications about, IT Changes of business or internal systems, or infrastructure. Provides leadership to various technical teams, guiding them in their efforts during the Change Management phases of the Service Management Lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving, verifying, recording, tracking and coordination of standard change requests (internal/external) and

• non-standard change requests (internal/external) supporting Data Center environment

• Communication with the requestor and all relevant stakeholders

• Coordination of CAB meetings and approval of change requests

• Coordinate and agree risk-/ downtimes with customers (internal/ external) and inform all stakeholders

• Support of Delivery Management during the whole time of Delivery

• Continuous optimisation of workflows to implement change requests more efficiently

• Training of users and support for the Change Management tools and processes.

• Maintain training / support documentation of change management process/workflow.

• Carry out change reporting/billing activities for internal/external customers.

• Management of the software licences and hardware maintenance contracts to ensure the service level of internal / external IT services

• - Timely processing license requests (internal / external)

• - Create license usage reports

• - Ensuring compliance with the licensing area

•   (Oracle, Microsoft ,VMWare, Citrix, Oracle Enterprise/Red Hat Linux)

• - Coordinate the license requirements with the business areas

• Monitoring and updating the software pool (lifecycle management)

• Supporting purchasing and legal in the negotiation of framework contracts

• - Obtaining all licenses and maintenance quotation

• - Creation and tracking of procurement orders

• - Continuous budget control and timely detection of imminent overshoots

• - Continuous focus on the realization of savings potentials by consistently

• - tracking usage optimization approaches

Required Experience:

• Working in an IT or Data Center Environment

• University degree (computer science, business administration, engineering) or comparable experience

• Experience in a Change Management role

• Advantage: Understanding of Information- and Telecommunication business and technologies

• Advantage: ITIL and/or ISO20000 knowledge

• German Language an advantage
