Labcorp is seeking a Financial Analytics & Technology Intern to join our Financial Analytics Team.

Work Schedule:

Days/Hours: Monday–Friday / 40 hours per week

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a defined summer project focused on analytics, automation, business intelligence, process improvement, or emerging technology.

  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and business insights.

  • Develop visualizations, dashboards, presentations, or reporting solutions that support decision-making.

  • Partner with financial analysts, business leaders, and technical teams to understand business requirements.

  • Evaluate opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, technology, or AI-enabled solutions.

  • Support projects involving operational and financial analytics, business intelligence, data quality, process improvement, and reporting optimization.

  • Explore automation opportunities, AI, and emerging technology use cases.

  • Present project results and recommendations to department leadership at the conclusion of the internship.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program.

  • Working towards a degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.

Additional Job Standards:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Experience with Excel and data analysis through coursework, projects, or previous internships.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a professional environment.

  • Experience with SAS, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Python, or similar analytical tools is preferred.

  • Interest in automation, artificial intelligence, or emerging technologies is preferred.

  • Experience completing academic, research, or team-based projects is preferred.

  • Interest in pursuing a long-term career in analytics, business intelligence, finance, or technology.

The Financial Analytics organization partners with Finance, Revenue Cycle Management, Operations, and Technology teams to transform data into actionable business insights. Team members develop reporting solutions, dashboards, analytical models, process improvements, automation tools, and business intelligence capabilities that support operational and financial decision-making across the enterprise.

As a member of the Financial Analytics team, the intern will gain hands-on experience using data, analytics, automation, and emerging technologies to address business needs while collaborating with financial analysts, business leaders, and technical teams across the organization.

  • Eligibility: Preferred candidates are rising juniors and seniors (December 2027 through June 2029 graduation) who are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program; however, all current students pursuing related studies are encouraged to apply.
