Intelligent Manufacturing Solutions - Director (Solutions Architect)

Intelligent Manufacturing Solutions (IMS) is the application of technologies to facilitate the automated exchange of data. Riveron specializes in connection of equipment, digital integration between machine and enterprise, and the visualization of real-time performance data to drive operational and financial improvement.  In this role, you will be instrumental in driving the transformation of our client’s technological landscape in line with Industry 4.0, focusing on Connected Factory and Connected Products. You'll work in close collaboration across multiple clients to build coalitions, implement new application initiatives/projects, and improve user experiences.

Who You Are:

• Bachelor's in computer science or relevant experience

• 8+ years’ experience designing and deploying Industry 4.0 architectures in various manufacturing environments

• Knowledgeable on the tools and capabilities that dictate the integration of IT- OT: Ignition, Databases, Cloud Infrastructure, PLC Network Architecture, IT Systems Architecture, and DevOps Best Practices for Scaling Managed Services

• Extensive knowledge of defining, deploying, and maintaining ETL/ELT operations for large scale, multi-asset manufacturing centers

• Operational experience connecting ERP and third-party databases for analytics

• Extensive knowledge of OT best practices regarding machine connectivity to Industry 4.0 applications

• Working knowledge of MQTT and Sparkplug B Specification

• Working knowledge of manufacturing optimization and automation concepts (OEE, CMMS, etc.)

• Experience in defining and analyzing business requirements, technology architecture design, or systems integration

• Experience working in complex enterprise environments with a firm grasp of Industry 4.0 principles

• Experience in designing applications for business process workflows or implementing IT projects

• Ability to work remotely and manage time/tasks independently

• Ability and desire to travel as required based on client requirements

What You'll Do:

• Gather and manage the requirements from the clients and translate them into a modern Industry 4.0 Architecture

• Write detailed software requirements / functional spec documents / SoWs

• Collaborate with key stakeholders at the client, including engineering, production - supply chain, IT teams, vendors as well as executives, to align digital initiatives with business needs

• Communicate and present to users/stakeholders at various levels within an organization and across the globe

• Provide subject matter expertise by being up to date on industry trends of IIoT, Industry 4.0, and Smart Manufacturing

• Identify alternative architectural approaches and formulate recommendations based on economic analysis and business requirements

• Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously without disruption in deliverables

• Provide strong economic, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving ability.

• Complete other duties as assigned

$140,000 - $275,000 a year

The expected pay range for this position is $140,000 to $275,000 (exclusive of bonus, equity, or benefits for which this role may be eligible). This range takes into account a variety of factors that are considered in making individual compensation decisions including but not limited to experience and training; skill sets; licensure and certifications; location and other business and organizational needs; and applicable laws.
