Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive analytics strategy to support the company's goals and objectives.

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 15 data analysts within the product analytics division.

  • Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and growth teams to identify key metrics and deliver actionable insights, focusing on activation rate, engagement, and retention.

  • Design and oversee the development of dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau to track performance and inform strategic decisions.

  • Conduct deep-dive analyses and research to understand user behaviour, identify trends, and provide recommendations for product improvements.

  • Drive A/B testing and other experimentation to optimize user experience and product features, ensuring rigorous monitoring and maintenance of data quality.

  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all analytics processes and tools.

  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in analytics and mobile app development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of experience in product analytics, with a significant portion in a leadership role.

  • Proven experience in mobile app analytics, preferably in the health and fitness industry.

  • Proficiency in SQL and Python.

  • Experience with data visualization tools, particularly Tableau.

  • Strong understanding of A/B testing, cohort analysis, and other statistical methods.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and drive business results through data insights.

  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with machine learning and predictive analytics.

  • Background in behavioural psychology or user experience research.

  • Passion for health, fitness, and wellness, with a personal interest in yoga or workout routines.

Soft Skills:

  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented with a passion for using data to drive decision-making.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Collaborative and team-oriented, focusing on fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

  • Leadership style focused on empowering and developing the team.
