This experienced Fundraising Operations SpecialistIIIplays a pivotal role in bringing Compassion’s fundraising strategies to life. Partnering closely with our fundraising neighbors acrossour marketing organization,you’lloperationalize new products, experiences, campaigns, and tools while driving continuous improvement across existing initiatives. Every effort youleadwill enable revenue generation across USA fundraising activities.
You’ll work independently while collaborating acrosscross functionalteams, consistently treating our fundraising partners as valued internal customers. In this role,you’llown your outcomes and serve as a trusted expert in fundraising operations, ensuring Compassion’s fundraising efforts run with excellence, clarity, and impact.
What will you do?
Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.Be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ,maintaininga courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and faithfully uphold Compassion’s ministry in prayer.
Act as an advocate to raisethe awarenessof the needs of children. Understand Christ’s mandate to protect children. Commit to andprioritizeschild protection considerations in all decision-making,tasksand activities across the ministry. Abide by all behavioral expectations in Compassion’s Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct. Report any concerns of abuse,neglector exploitation of children through Compassion’s internal reporting process and appropriately support responses to incidents if they occur.

Implements fundraising strategies by planning and executing an assigned portfolio of products, experiences, campaigns, and tools which may include experiential events, technology resources, marketing campaigns, stewardship campaigns and fundraising appeals that are focused on both new and existing audiences intended to elicit new sponsorships and non-sponsorship revenue.
Serves as a key stakeholder for all stages of product development and product use. Collaborates with both marketing and fundraising teams to provide subject matterexpertisefor decisionsimpactingfundraising opportunities.
Manages the health, efficiency, and scalability of assignedportfolioof products. This could include maintenance of physical inventory items and technology hardware, information security and PCI compliance,documentationand training for internal and external audiences,monitoringof key measures and end to end production efficiency and quality.
Identifiesand drives operational improvement work to positivelyimpactscalability, affordability,sustainabilityand safety or drives cost savings and process efficiency for assigned products, experiences, campaigns, and tools.
Manages budget and expenses associated with product use, maintenance, and scaling to meet fundraising demand. This could include managing vendor or partner contracts and payments.
Establishes positive, collaborative working relationships with internal and external neighbors, including various departments and teams within Compassion,to execute themost effective events and campaigns, enhance and grow products, and resolve product issues and breaks.
Performs ongoing analysis, reporting, evaluation, and captureslessons learned for assigned products, experiences,campaigns,and tools.
May coach and provideexpertiseto other professionals and support staff in the fundraising operations and related disciplines.
Whatdoyou bring?
7+ years of experience in fundraising operations, marketing operations, campaign execution, oraccount management.
Proven experience managing cross-functional projects, fundraising campaigns, events, or donor engagement initiatives from planning through execution.
Strong analytical skills with experience measuring campaign performance, reporting results, andidentifyingprocess improvement opportunities.
Experience working with CRM, fundraising, marketing automation, or donor management systems;proficiencyin Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities independently while partnering effectively with internal stakeholders, vendors, and external partners.
Ability to travel up to 10% of normal schedule
