Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Intern with a to join our finance team. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, has a positive attitude, and is open to tackling new challenges. The intern will gain hands-on experience in accounts payable and receivable, account reconciliations, audit preparation, and financial reporting.
This paid position will be part-time (up to 10 hours per week) and fully remote.
Responsibilities:
Enter accounts payable invoices into the accounting system
Maintain and update vendor records
Reconcile bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts
Support the finance team in audit preparations, including gathering and organizing financial documents
Collaborate with the finance team to identify process improvements and contribute to projects as needed
Assist in preparing ad-hoc financial reports
Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:
Pursuing a Finance, Accounting, Business or related degree
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, especially pivot tables, VLOOKUP and HLOOKUP formulas, Google Sheets
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
A positive attitude, openness to feedback, and a strong desire to learn and grow
Bonus Points:
Experience with Quickbooks Online and Bill.com
Previous experience working as an Accounting or Finance Intern
