Your Mission

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Business Development executive with exceptional business acumen to lead our efforts in unlocking new revenue opportunities and fostering impactful relationships across our executive network.

 

In this role, you will be a key driver of our business growth, harvesting the tremendous amount of value we have in our advisor and executive networks into revenue opportunity. In parallel, you will be establish adjacent partnership opportunities that have arisen with longer life cycles, managing these from end to end (consulting, VC, technology, etc).

This role is unique within Invisible, offering the opportunity to shape new channel initiatives and drive strategic revenue growth in a company that is on the forefront of the AI revolution. You will be working closely with industry leaders and the C-suite to anchor these relationships, secure introductions to qualified targets, and effectuate our GTM strategy.

Responsibilities 

  • Executive Engagement:

    • Cultivate and maintain relationships with C-level executives, understanding their business goals, challenges, and strategic initiatives.

    • Interface extensively with top-tier decision-makers to position our solutions as strategic assets aligned with their organizational objectives.

  • Pipeline Management and Revenue Responsibility:

    • Take ownership of the business development pipeline, ensuring its health, accuracy, and alignment with revenue targets.

    • Implement strategic initiatives to maximize pipeline value and convert opportunities into revenue.

  • Strategic Partnerships and Alliances:

    • Explore and establish strategic partnerships that enhance our market position and create additional revenue streams across other key channels (VC, PE, etc)

    • Collaborate with partners to create mutually beneficial alliances and strengthen our overall strategic impact.

  • Strategic Advisory Network:

    • Identify and build relationships with strategic advisors, industry influencers, and thought leaders who can provide valuable insights and open doors to new business opportunities in line with corporate strategy.

    • Harness advisory networks to gain access to influential decision-makers and shape strategic conversations.

  • Willingness to travel as needed (usually ~1 week/month)

Experience 

  • Executive-Level Business Development Experience:

    • Minimum of 8-10 years of demonstrated success in senior business development roles, with a focus on engaging and influencing C-level executives.

    • Proven ability to navigate and understand complex decision-making processes at the highest organizational levels.

  • Revenue Responsibility Track Record: Substantial experience in owning and exceeding revenue targets, with a track record of achieving revenue targets and driving business growth.

  • Industry Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the industry or industries relevant to our business, including understanding market dynamics, competition, and emerging trends.

  • Strategic Networking Skills: Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills, evidenced by an established network of executive-level contacts and strategic advisors.

  • Communication and Negotiation Expertise:

    • Outstanding executive acumen with excellent communication and negotiation skills.

    • Ability to articulate complex solutions effectively and tailor communication to resonate with executive audiences.

  • Strategic Thinking and Innovation: Proven ability to think strategically and devise innovative solutions to address client challenges and capitalize on market opportunities.

  • Pipeline Management Experience: Demonstrated expertise in effectively managing business development pipelines, ensuring accuracy, and implementing strategic initiatives to maximize pipeline value.

  • Collaboration and Cross-Functional Teamwork: Strong collaborative skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with business development goals.  

 

Compensation & Benefits

  • Working Times: US (EST or PST) Hours

  • Compensation Breakdown

    • Base: $150k

    • $300k OTE

    • Generous Equity
