Position Overview 

As the Director of Compiler Engineering, you'll be instrumental in shaping the future of our Machine Learning compiler technology. You'll lead a talented team in designing, developing, and optimising compilers tailored for AI at the Edge. Your role will involve setting strategic directions, overseeing the development lifecycle, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of our compiler solutions into our product suite. 

 

Responsibilities:

- Lead and mentor the Compiler Engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence in compiler design, optimization, and performance. 

- Define and execute strategies for advancing compiler technology, aligning with industry trends, and meeting business objectives. 

- Oversee the design, development, and optimization of compilers to support AI-centric applications and workflows. 

- Collaborate closely with Research & Development, Engineering, and Product teams to align compiler technology with product goals and market demands. 

- Drive innovation and efficiency in compiler design, performance, and optimization techniques. 

 

Qualifications and Technical Requirements: 

- MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields with 8-10 years of industry experience. 

- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in compiler engineering or related technical fields. 

- Expertise in compiler design, optimization, and development, with a deep understanding of compiler architecture, LLVM/Clang, and optimization methodologies. 

- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, and familiarity with AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.). 

- Familiarity with ML compilation frameworks like Apache TVM and MLIR. 

- Strong knowledge of parallel computing, vectorization, and optimization techniques for modern CPU/GPU architectures. 

- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and integrate compiler solutions into product offerings. 

- Excellent problem-solving skills and a track record of driving innovation in a dynamic environment. 

 

Additional Information: 

This role will involve close collaboration with various teams, including Research & Development, Engineering, and Product, to ensure the alignment of compiler technology with product goals and industry advancements.
