The Director of Fintech Operations will be responsible for leading the Fintech department and overseeing all operations, strategy, and revenue generation related to AP payments, compliance, partnerships, and subsequent Fintech product offerings. Leading this strategic initiative, this role will develop and execute strategies to expand the Fintech offerings and drive continued revenue growth. The Director will lead a team of directors and managers, providing guidance and leadership to maximize performance. They will possess excellent communication skills to collaborate across the organization, motivate team members, and form strategic external partnerships.
How you'll add value:
Develop and execute innovative strategies to grow Fintech revenue streams and offerings with significant coordination with Accounting General Manager for ownership of Fintech success
Lead a high-performing team of directors and managers to achieve department goals
Oversee payment operations, compliance, vendor management, and new partnership development while having heavy involvement in the onboarding and support functions for Fintech products
Collaborate with technology teams on optimizing payment systems and infrastructure
Lead the coordination of the strategic initiative’s needs cross departmentally, including billing, marketing, product engineering and customer success efforts
Present reports and recommendations for improvement to executive leadership
Maintain exceptional customer service and issue resolution standards
Ensure adherence to legal/regulatory requirements related to payments
Coach and motivate team members, fostering professional development
Oversee recruitment and talent acquisition for the department
Champion a culture of accountability, excellence and inclusion
Other duties as assigned
Occasional travel may be required
What you'll need to be successful in this role:
Bachelor's degree in business administration or equally relevant degree or an equivalent combination of education and applicable work experience
MBA or advanced degree preferred
Expert knowledge of payment systems, compliance, and restaurant technology
Ability to develop strategies and influence outcomes on an executive level
Strong leadership presence with exceptional verbal, written and presentation communication skills with the ability to communicate sophisticated technical issues effectively and concisely to executives, team members and others
Results-driven mindset focused on innovation, optimization and growth
Proficient in building relationships, negotiating contracts, and managing partnerships
High emotional intelligence with strong business insight and judgment, team orientated, and provides a collaborative and inclusive style
Strong business acumen and analytical capabilities
Experience recruiting, building, and developing high-performing teams
Professional stature and gravitas to collaborate with and influence executives, leaders and team members with credibility and confidence
High professional standards and expectations for self and others
R365 Team Member Benefits & Compensation
This position has a salary range of $160,000-$180,000. The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic location. Restaurant365 focuses on equitable pay for our team and aims for transparency with our pay practices.
