You will:
Be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the data infrastructure necessary to provide actionable insights to various teams within our organization
Work closely with a team of data analysts, and stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into robust data pipelines and solutions.
Liaise with our Data and Core teams to identify ways of improving the Data consumption for our projects and framework.
Work through a variety of technical challenges that will require creativity and close collaboration across internal functions.
Required:
Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and Scala, along with experience with data processing frameworks and tools such as Apache Spark, Apache Airflow, and Kafka.
Solid understanding of database technologies (relational databases, NoSQL databases, data lakes) and experience with database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex data requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient solutions.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Creativity and eagerness to learn new technologies.
Being comfortable in planning, leading, and delivering complex data solutions to improve performance and to deliver improved alerts.
Being a self-starter who is also comfortable working individually as well as part of a team.
Having an inquisitive mindset, with a strong eye for detail.
Excellent communication skills, able to explain data concepts to non-technical audiences.
