ABOUT TOMORROW HEALTH

Tomorrow Health enables exceptional healthcare for patients and their families in the place they want to be most — home. At Tomorrow Heath, we build technology that rewires the way home-based care is ordered, delivered, and paid for. Tomorrow Health connects patients, providers, health plans, and home-based care suppliers, to ensure patients receive the correct and timely care they need to remain healthy at home.

We believe that a team’s strength is in its people. Our goal is to raise the industry standard for patient experience, and we realize this cannot be achieved without a team that reflects the vast diversity in race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, and set of experiences and perspectives of the patients we serve. We believe in putting patients first, that many perspectives are stronger than one, and in treating those we serve just as we would our own family members. If you’re passionate about improving healthcare delivery, leveraging technology to serve people, and working in a collaborative, diverse environment, we hope you’ll join us.

THE TEAM

The Technology team at Tomorrow Health builds the software and technologies that connect and scale the home health ecosystem in order to transform the home into the preferred place of care for positive patient outcomes. Our products serve a diverse set of users – doctors, insurance companies, medical equipment suppliers, and care coordinators – and ultimately enable us to deliver a higher quality patient experience. Our team of mission-driven technologists is highly collaborative, supportive, empathetic, curious, and impact-oriented. We are dedicated to leveraging data-driven insights to enable a faster, simpler, and more transparent process for patients and healthcare partners.

THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Data Analytics Manager to drive the development of scalable data solutions and insights that support our business objectives. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Engineering, this is a player-coach role that will have the opportunity to make hands-on contributions to support burgeoning data needs across the business.

As the Data Analytics Manager, you will be responsible for leading a small team of data engineers and analysts to design, implement, and maintain robust data pipelines, infrastructure, and analytics solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our data and analytics infrastructure meets the needs of the organization. Additionally, you will play a key role in setting the technical direction for our data and analytics efforts and implementing best practices to ensure scalability, reliability, and efficiency.

You will not only drive the data roadmap and support the growth and development of the team, but are also willing and eager to jump in and complete the data engineering, data infrastructure, or analytics-related work that needs to be done, right alongside your team. As the Data Analytics Manager, you will:

  • Lead and mentor a small team of Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers, and Data Analysts, providing guidance on technical design, implementation, and best practices.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design scalable data solutions and analytics strategies to support business objectives.

  • Design and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable data pipelines, infrastructure, and analytics solutions using modern technologies and frameworks.

  • Define and enforce data and analytics best practices, including data governance, coding standards, documentation, testing, and code reviews.

  • Manage and optimize data storage, retrieval, and analytics processes to ensure optimal performance and cost efficiency.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data quality, reliability, and efficiency across the organization.

  • Establish and refine processes and practices that enable a small team to effectively prioritize and deliver upon the data needs of the business.

  • Partner with Technology leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to develop and build towards a longer-term data roadmap.

ABOUT YOU

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or related roles, preferably in the healthcare technology industry.

  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial position.

  • Willing and able to take on a player-coach role in which you directly contribute alongside your team, paired with proven leadership skills and the ability to inspire and mentor team members to achieve their full potential.

  • Deep understanding of statistical analysis, data modeling, and database technologies.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, or similar.

  • Strong understanding of modern data stacks, architectures, and tooling.

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

  • Experience with ETL and data warehousing technologies such as dbt, Fivetran, and Snowflake.

  • Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Sigma, Looker, or Mode.

  • Preferred but not required: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

  • Preferred but not required: Experience with machine learning and advanced analytics techniques.

  • Preferred but not required: Experience with data governance, compliance, and security practices.
