Blockchain Innovation Engineer

Location: Remote, US based. 

Summary of Role: 

Asset Reality, a trusted leader in seized asset management, seeks a dynamic and passionate Blockchain Innovation Engineer with solid, demonstrable experience in DLT technology development and delivery, experience with cloud technologies and a passion for start-ups. As a Blockchain Innovation Engineer, you will be critical and at the forefront of developing our innovation projects, including crypto seizure, custody, liquidation, and disbursement services.

Responsibilities:

• Work within the innovation team, contributing to and managing the complete cycle of R&D projects, from conception to operational delivery.

• Develop and Support new essential DLT programmes.

• Work in parallel with the product team to build a culture of innovation, experimentation and rollout of validated product deliverables.

• Support the definition and delivery of the innovation workstreams in the product roadmap and contribute to quarterly and annual planning.

• Contribute to strategic leadership thinking and guidance to the engineering team, driving the technical scaling of our products and aligning their efforts with Asset Reality's mission and goals in asset recovery and management.

• Identify and implement best practices, processes, and tools to optimise development efficiency, quality, and scalability while accommodating the unique challenges and opportunities of a startup environment. 

• Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies, industry trends, and advancements, driving innovation within the engineering team and supporting our startup's growth trajectory. 

Requirements:

• Proven experience delivering DLT projects commercially

• Strong technical background and understanding of blockchain principles, protocols, and smart contract development, including Bitcoin and Ethereum.

• Experience with Python and Angular; desirable experience in Go and React.

• Demonstrable experience in developing and delivering solutions, ideally within regulated environments and the realm of enterprise cloud-based platforms

• Experience in stakeholder management and team-leading  

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on delivering results, meeting deadlines, and ensuring the security and integrity of systems 

• Desirable experience in team development, growth, and organisational excellence within a startup environment
