Job description for Staff Business Analyst, CRM
Business Analysts (BAs) play a crucial role in bridging the gap between the needs of non-profit organizations and technical solutions that meet those needs. This position is for the Blackbaud CRM team at Blackbaud, which serves large/enterprise scale non-profits/NGOs.
Responsibilities
Gather user requirements and then document and analyze them
Write functional specifications documents to guide custom development work
Facilitation of as-is and to-be business process discussions with customersubject matter experts
Translation of business processes and requirements into business processflow documentation, solution design
Perform Blackbaud CRM system configurations
Help define test cases and validate that Blackbaud CRM meets the organization’s requirements
Conduct quality control tests for both standard and custom functionality
Assist senior Business Analysts as part of services engagements
Learn the Blackbaud CRM platform and become expert in its features and functionality
Write documentation for internal and client consumption
Qualifications
Knowledge and understanding of enterprise CRM systems, e.g. MS Dynamics, Salesforce, Blackbaud CRM, etc.
At least 2 years of full-time professional experience, as in 2 years post college.
Experience writing business requirements and functional spec docs
Excellent client-facing skills and experience, including good written and spoken English
Must be self-motivated and able to learn and work independently
Knowledge of, or work experience with non-profit organizations a plus
Ability to multitask on concurrent projects, and deliver work on time and under budget
Ability to work on US business hours
